WalletTag: An AI-Powered Wallet Reputation & Trust Layer for Web3

WalletTag Protocol Overview

WalletTag is a decentralized, AI-powered reputation and trust protocol for Web3 — built to bring transparency, accountability, and security to wallet-based interactions. At its core, WalletTag analyses on-chain behaviour using machine learning to assign real-time risk scores, generate behavioural reputation tags, and flag suspicious wallets across the ecosystem.

The protocol enables dynamic tagging of wallets with standardised labels such as “Verified,” “Flagged,” and “Monitored,” powered by both automated analysis and optional user verification. Risk scoring is based on a combination of behavioural patterns, transaction history, and network-level signals — allowing for more intelligent and proactive threat detection than static blocklists.

WalletTag is modular in design and currently optimised for EVM-compatible chains, with potential for multi-chain support in future phases, offering open APIs, SDKs, and a public search interface that can be integrated by dApps, marketplaces, registrars, and block explorers. A built-in identity and IP verification module allows trademark owners to authenticate rights, flag infringements, and initiate automated dispute-based tagging and asset locking.

This white paper outlines the key challenges in establishing trust within wallet-based systems, the architecture and AI models powering the WalletTag protocol, and the broad applications across the decentralized ecosystem — from fraud prevention and identity scoring to IP protection and transaction security.
