11. Revenue Model & Commercial Strategy

WalletTag operates as a modular SaaS platform with free public features, paid subscription tiers, and strategic partner integrations — supporting both widespread adoption and long-term sustainability.

Public Access (Free Tier)

WalletTag’s wallet explorer and basic read-only API access will remain free for all users, supporting public accountability and transparency. Community members, researchers, and watchdogs can access wallet tags and risk scores at no cost.

The “Monitored” tag is free to activate, allowing users to add a visible protection layer to their wallet and deter theft or misuse.

B2C Subscriptions (Premium User Plans)

Users will be able to subscribe to paid plans that offer:

  • Monitoring of multiple wallets

  • Real-time alerts for incoming and outgoing activity

  • Optional wallet verification via a third-party KYC provider

  • A visible “Verified” trust tag for social and transactional credibility

These features are designed for Web3 users who want to actively protect their assets, improve their wallet reputation, or gain trust in creator and community ecosystems.

B2B SaaS Tiers (Platform Integrations)

WalletTag offers fixed-price SaaS packages for:

  • Marketplaces

  • Launchpads

  • Onramps

  • Wallet providers

  • Block explorers

  • Exchanges

  • Compliance and legal teams

Each tier includes access to WalletTag’s risk scoring API, tagging engine, monitoring dashboards, and optional modules such as stablecoin flow detection or domain/IP enforcement. Tiers scale with usage and organisational needs.

Partner Channels & Rev-Share

WalletTag is pursuing commercial partnerships with:

  • Crypto onramps

  • Wallet providers

  • Stablecoin issuers

  • Web3 platforms

These partners can offer WalletTag as a bundled feature to their users, upsell premium wallet monitoring or verification, and share revenue through pre-agreed licensing or per-user commissions.

Future Token Utility (Post-Launch)

The $TAG token, planned for a future phase, may be used to unlock advanced features such as tagging, dispute resolution, and DAO-based governance. However, all monetisation strategies are designed to operate independently of the token, ensuring utility-led adoption from day one.

Treasury & Sustainability

A portion of all revenue may flow into a protocol-owned treasury to fund audits, open-source contributors, security bounties, and AI model training — aligning incentives with long-term ecosystem health.
